Raisin stayed home from school today because of a cold, but she’s not sick enough that she wants to lay around all day. God forgive me for saying this, but more’s the pity.
Investigating whether Phil saw his shadow interested them for about 1 minute. Making groundhog puppets, maybe 5-10 minutes. They napped (a blessing, since Raisin never naps unless she IS sick), but now they need to be entertained AGAIN. Bathtub crayons, 15 minutes, and I’m out. They are done with every toy in the ridiculous mountain of toys, they fight over every book until I say, “Forget it, nobody gets a book!”
I am so close to letting them watch Days of Our Lives or some other completely inappropriate daytime TV.*
