A pattern

Week 1: Diving into projects.  Energized, interested, engaged.  Tons gets done.

Week 2: Some basic maintenance on projects.  Maybe a little less productive, but decent.

Week 3: Survival mode.  (kids: fed, laundry: done, house: still here, school/work: attended, decently clad = success)

Week 4: Hate.  The results of survival mode are beginning to wear on me.  Trying desperately to get caught back up.


Here’s the question: since this seems to be my natural pattern, should I just go with it?  Would it reduce my stress to just accept that this is the way I roll, and try to make the best of it?  Or, would I benefit more from trying to equalize the work week to week, even if it tends to go against the grain?
