Should I buy the kindergarten yearbook?

Is this one of those things, destined to become more frequent, that shows that I am now a lame and out-of-touch parent?  I didn’t know elementary school yearbooks existed, but the flier in Riya’s folder today assures me they do — and I can pay extra to get her photo on the front!  and/or a current events insert!  Woo.

Tell me what to do, internets!

Oh yeah, get it. LK likes to get all of his out from elementary school and look through them over and over. They were especially helpful when we moved.

I got one for Morgan last year in Kindergarten, and it’s really great for looking up kids and teachers that she talks about. I love it as a resource. This summer when we found out who she has for a teacher, I could look her up and show Morgan her picture. At the time, I thought it was unnecessary, but now I know it was worth it. I didn’t do any of the extras, for what it’s worth.

I think it all depends on how much it costs. Although if it were me, I’d probably end up buying the thing.
