Better know a Julie*

I am not good at April Fool’s Day.  I’m easily tricked, and I’m a terrible liar.  So that’s fun.  Nevertheless, I’m trying to get into the spirit of the day.  Let’s play a game!

This week I heard a podcast that reminded me of a story from my past.  This incident amuses me because it was so out of character for me.  Was it:

1) I once spent several days calling local taxidermists to see if they could help me with a very specific taxidermy project I was working on.

2) I was scheduled to have my eggs harvested, but I canceled the appointment because You’ve Got Mail was on TV the week before, and I didn’t want to be like Tom Hanks’ stepmother.

3) Once, on Spring Break in Mexico, I sampled a drink containing a substance that’s illegal in the US.

No fair answering if you know the real story.  I haven’t yet thought of a prize for the winner(s), but I will.  And it’ll be really good.

*Borrowed from Colbert, much like the idea from this post is borrowed from Chris and Beth.

    I hope it’s number 3. (though number 1 also sounds like a good story…)

I am going to have to go with number 1!

I know you are a sucker for the romantic comedies… but, my guess is 3! If it is 1 or 2 you better have several more blogs of explanation!
